means
an alternative
for those
who want to
think and wonder
free
not dogmatically
experience god
personally
within
where no one
dare invade
unless invited
live out response
practically
help those
nobody
is helping
do jobs
nobody wants
to do
discuss
controversial
subjects
with reason
and respect
for those
who disagree
vote 51 to 49
and go out
for coffee
together
afterward
tolerance
without
indifference
compassion
without
collusion
responsibility
without
using guilt
or labels
to control
coerce
cajole
a way
for people
who arent
too religious
but will stay
with you
through
terminal situations
miss church
because
a sick neighbors
lawn needs mowing
welcome for those
who feel outside
or unacceptable
a chance
to seek ask
grow toward
rather than a
building
budget
body count
marketing
franchise
where difference
is allowed
and oppositions
are loyal
to a commitment
common
trust in christ
as enough
dont tell me
what i
must believe
beyond that
or i may reply
as did
john wesley once
your god
is my devil
