North Spring Closing and New Beginning
North Spring will no longer have Worship Services after June 27. There will still be a fun and fabulous VBS on July 18 - 22. And there will be a party open to everyone the evening of July 10. This has been a wonderful and God blessed journey for North Spring. Starting on August 15, this location will become Church of the Resurrection Blue Springs. With joy and excitement we look forward to an awesome new experience and mission opportunities that will be afforded to this new congregation. God has led us to this moment in time. The future could not look any brighter. Please continue to pray, as you always have, for this church family as they (we) transition into new phases of church life. Thanks so much for each and every one of you. May God bless you.
VBS This Summer, Register Now!!!
Our theme this year is “God's Green Earth!” For kids who want to take care of God's creation! We are encouraging all kids and families to bring friends and neighbors! Our exploration will begin on Sunday, July 18th through Wednesday July 21st from 6-8 pm. We will end our VBS with a family celebration on Thursday the 22nd. Please consider how you will be able to help! We will need teachers to lead the following stations: snack, craft, story, and games! We will also need leaders to guide our different age groups through the stations. We are collecting Health Kits
to take on the mission trip to UMCOR Sager Brown this summer. The collection will start on May 23 and will be completed by July 25. The Health Kits consist of the following: 1 Hand Towel (no kitchen towels), 1 Wash cloth, 1 toothbrush (adult size in original packaging), 1 sturdy comb (not pocket-sized), 6 band-aids, 1 metal nail file or nail clippers with file (not toenail clippers), 1 bar of soap (bath size in wrapper). $2 for toothpaste & shipping (toothpaste will be added at Sager Brown). Place items in a gallon zip lock bag. All items in the kit must be brand new items. Do not include personal notes or other items since there are strict rules within some countries that govern what can be included in these deliveries.
