Youth Bible Study
During the Sunday Morning Bible Study hour there is a bible study class available for youth in 6th to 12th grades. We do a variety of different studies that class members help pick. You do not have to have a Bible, there is no homework required and no prior knowledge of the Bible is needed. Come learn about the Bible and how it is relevant today! If you have any questions, please contact Michelle Sloop via email (michelle@sloopnet.com) or leave a message with the church office.

Mission Trips and Related Fundraising Activities
The Youth Department's annual summer mission trips provide an opportunity for the youth to grow spiritually through daily devotions and form lasting relationships with each other and their adult sponsors while serving the less fortunate. They make use of demolition, painting, and some construction skills in rehabbing houses and perform some minor new construction.
  • The Youth for Hire program lets teens participate in weekend projects for church members in which adult sponsors and homeowners provide training and confidence-building experience. The money they earn funds their mission trip.
  • For the youth Spuds & Suds project, they wash and wrap potatoes and prepare condiments for baked potato bars for a local business
  • Car washes
  • Christmas in the Park at Longview Lake
  • Wacky Dinner and Talent Show: our teens help prepare the food, serve it, and provide the entertainment
  • Each year the mid-high youth and their adult sponsors participate in a two-day mission project in the community
  • Senior high youth fund a week-long mission trip with their adult sponsors to be of service around the country. Their projects include rehabbing houses in Appalachia, the St. Louis inner-city, and the Crow Creek & Rosebud Indian Reservations in South Dakota.
